James Robbins, training principal and insolvency partner at Harrison Drury, comments: “I’m so excited to congratulate our newly qualified solicitors, Alex, Ben, and Charles. This is an excellent achievement and a testament to their hard work and dedication.

“By investing in our team’s growth, we’ve watched them become confident solicitors ready to support our clients and pursue long and successful careers. Their accomplishments are a great sign for the future of Harrison Drury, and I can’t wait to see them continue to thrive with us.”

We create opportunities for people to become solicitors through the national Solicitors Qualifying Exam (SQE) programme, which offers a more flexible path to qualification that allows our people to earn while they learn.

Trainees complete two sets of exams and two years of qualifying work experience, where they receive practical training and advice from our experienced team and gain first-hand knowledge of the role.

We still accept applications from candidates who have completed or are pursuing their legal practice course (LPC), as well as through our apprenticeship programme.

We recently announced eight new trainee and apprentice positions as part of our 2024 training programme intake. To date, our programmes have created 47 trainee solicitor and apprentice roles over the last 10 years and 16 of our current solicitors started as a trainee or apprentice.
