HR Administrator

The Operations team are looking to recruit a HR Administrator. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop a career in HR and gain valuable experience and a level 3 HR (CIPD) qualification.
The successful candidate will provide accurate, timely, efficient and professional support to the business as delegated by the HR Manager, as well as taking responsibility for routine and transactional activities such as data entry & reporting through the HR software system. This will enable the department to ensure that it is responsive, provides timely and accurate advice and supports the business to achieve its mission.
We are looking for a candidate who is a strong communicator, with keen attention to detail and who is confident working within a busy commercial environment.
The role:
- To manage HR software: entering relevant information in an accurate and timely manner
- To produce HR reports as required
- Assist the Talent Acquisition Specialist by drafting and placing adverts, acknowledging applicants, organising recruitment timetables and scheduling interviews
- Administer the on-boarding process for new employees.
- Ensure accurate and timely communication with payroll where necessary
- Provide day to day advice to managers and employees on general queries, Policies and Procedures, escalating more complex issues to the HR Manager
- Assist with note taking in meetings as required
- Ensure resignations are acknowledged in a timely manner and leavers process is correctly followed
- Provide references in accordance with company policy as requested
- Organise and facilitate work experience placements
- Effective organisation of careers events through liaison with educational establishments
- Contribute to HR projects such as introducing and updating policy, maintaining accreditations

- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Good organisation and planning skills with the ability to prioritise work to meet deadlines
- Self awareness and discretion when dealing with sensitive confidential information
- Self-Motivated, desire to learn and progress
- Excellent IT skills
- Ability to work within teams and individually using own initiative
Desirable
- Experience of working as an HR Administrator in a professional services environment.
