Harrison Drury, has appointed solicitor, Jessica Casson-Grave, to join its commercial dispute resolution and insolvency team.
Jessica, a graduate with a Master of Laws (MLaw) from the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan), joins us from Oglethorpe, Sturton & Gillibrand Solicitors in Lancaster where she completed her training.
With a particular focus on the agricultural sector, Jessica has experience across a broad range of property, probate and commercial disputes. Based at the firm’s Preston and Lancaster offices, she will assist our clients to help resolve dispute matters involving business contracts, commercial debt and partnership/shareholder disputes.
Commenting on Jessica’s appointment, Sean Gibbs, head of commercial dispute resolution at Harrison Drury, said: “Jessica has had ties with Harrison Drury since early on in her studies. Her work experience placement with the commercial dispute resolution team in 2017 inspired her on her path to qualify as a solicitor. She then came to us after her final year of study to work as a paralegal at our Lancaster office. It’s great to see her returning to her spiritual home at Harrison Drury after completing her professional legal training. We were also in competition with others in the legal industry to secure her services so are very happy that she chose us.”
“She will be a great asset to the team, particularly with her background and knowledge in the rural sector, and we are delighted that Jessica has chosen to return to Harrison Drury to continue her career.”
Jessica said: “Harrison Drury is a very modern and positive place to work. The high-quality client service and excellent training offering here will enable me to push myself professionally.”
“I think the real strength of Harrison Drury is our commitment to our people, and the way the firm welcomes and values its employees allows us to focus on producing our best work for our incredible clients.”
