Harrison Drury’s Clitheroe office raised an impressive £1,330 at its charity race night on Friday 19 July in aid of the East Lancashire Hospice 2019 Corporate Challenge.

St Mary’s Centre, Clitheroe, hosted over 80 guests for an exciting night at the races with a raffle. The lucky raffle winners received a range of prizes including lunch at Northcote, tickets to the Wales v England Rugby World Cup warm-up game and lots more luxury treats.

The money raised will help fund critical care at the East Lancashire Hospice, for local people who are coping with life-limiting illnesses across Blackburn, Darwen, Accrington and Clitheroe.

Victoria McCann, from Harrison Drury’s Clitheroe office, said: “We’re proud to help the East Lancashire Hospice and its incredible work in the local community, caring for patients and supporting their families during difficult times.

“We would like to thank everyone who came along on the night, our sponsors and everybody who kindly donated prizes to the raffle.

“We’re planning more events in the coming months, so watch this space for more news.”

The East Lancashire Hospice 2019 Corporate Challenge began on 1 June and finishes at the end of September. This year the participating local businesses were given £50 by headline sponsor Organic Insurance and tasked with raising as much money as possible with a variety of fundraising events.
