David Vayro appointed to head up Manchester construction law team

We’re pleased to announce further growth within our construction law team following the appointment of partner David Vayro.

David, who joins us from Primas Law, will head up our construction law team in Manchester, advising construction and development clients operating across the region.

Working with head of construction Katherine Sibley and the wider North West team, David will advise clients on both transactional matters and in relation to conflict management and dispute resolution.

David holds a wide range of sector experience and acts for football clubs, hotel developers, residential and commercial developers, building contractors, property funders, professional consultants, and other specialist subcontractors.

David’s other previous experience includes partner and head and construction roles at law firms including Gately, Trowers and Hamlins, and DWF.

He has gained particular expertise in development work, putting together construction document packages and advising on the construction aspects of development agreements. This includes agreements for lease, forward funding agreements and all other documentation including or impacted by provisions covering construction activity.

Our construction law team sits within the wider property and construction division, which also encompasses commercial property law and property litigation. Our property and construction division has 37 solicitors, including 10 partners.
