Experienced solicitor joins Harrison Drury’s commercial property team
Harrison Drury has further strengthened its commercial property team with the appointment of experienced property solicitor Lois Parker.
Lois brings a wealth of experience to the firm having spent over four years working for London-based property law specialists Glovers Solicitors where she worked her way up to associate solicitor after first joining as a paralegal.
Based at Harrison Drury’s office in Lancaster, Lois will support clients across the region with a wide range of commercial property services.
This includes dealing with all areas of landlord and tenant, acquisitions and disposals and property finance matters. Lois also has specific experience in secured lending for development sites, including bridging, development and development exit loans.
Hannah Hughes, partner at Harrison Drury, comments: “We’re delighted to welcome Lois to the team. She has experience in many areas of commercial property, in particular acting for clients within the hospitality and leisure sector with landlord and tenant matters and dealing with estate management matters, which will be invaluable to Harrison Drury and our clients.”
Lois, who joins in the role of solicitor, added: “I chose Harrison Drury because of its reputation as an ambitious, leading law firm, with a very strong commercial property team. My role will cover a wide range of sectors and provide me with opportunities to expand on my previous experience and further my knowledge.
“I was attracted by the fact that Harrison Drury is regarded as a great place to work, where I will be able to thrive and grow alongside a supportive team.”
Lois’s appointment means Harrison Drury has a team of five commercial property lawyers in Lancaster and 27 across the region.
A graduate from the University of Birmingham with an honours degree in Law with Business Studies, Lois continued her studies at BPP Law School in Leeds, where she received a distinction in LLM Legal Practice.
Lois grew up in Low Bentham and currently lives in Lancaster, having spent time living in Birmingham and London. She likes to spend her time out of work hiking, cycling and swimming.
