Harrison Drury has expanded its property litigation team with the appointment of experienced solicitor Grant Redburn.

Grant, who joins from Butcher & Barlow LLP, will be based at our Preston office and advise clients across the North West and further afield.

He specialises in acting for landlords and tenants in connection with commercial lease disputes including renewal proceedings, dilapidations, rent review and forfeiture/enforcement.

Grant also has experience of advising on boundary disputes, traveller evictions and claims relating to disputed easements and covenants over land.

Colin Fenny, partner and head of our property dispute resolution team, said: “I am delighted to welcome Grant to the property litigation department at Harrison Drury.

“He will provide much needed technical support and expertise to help meet the increased demand our team has seen over the last year. Grants appointment will further enhance our reputation for providing high quality legal services to our clients, enabling them to resolve disputes as swiftly and cost-effectively as possible.”

Our property litigation team sits within the wider property and construction division, which includes commercial property law and construction law. The division has almost 40 property solicitors, including 10 partners.

Grant added: “I’ve been following Harrison Drury for a while and have been impressed by its commitment to staff development and its personal approach to client relations.

“The firm has a longstanding reputation for the quality of its property expertise, particularly for the more specialist property work like complex landlord and tenant matters and commercial property disputes. It’s great to be part of one of the region’s largest property teams.”
