Harrison Drury has moved its Lancaster office to new premises in the heart of the city’s professional quarter.

The solicitors firm has relocated to 21 Castle Hill, a three-storey Grade II listed building opposite Lancaster Castle.

Harrison Drury is leasing space on the second floor of the property, offering it significant extra capacity compared to its previous base in Dalton Square from where it launched its Lancaster office in January 2014.

Brett Cooper, who heads up Harrison Drury’s Lancaster office, said: “Lancaster is an area with real entrepreneurial pedigree and it’s also attracting a lot of new high-growth companies. Our decision to open an office here last year was driven by this growing demand for quality commercial legal services. In that time we’ve won many new clients and forged some really good relationships with other local professionals. This latest move gives us the extra room we need to expand our team of Lancaster solicitors.”

John Chesworth, managing director of Harrison Drury, said: “There’s a real buzz about Lancaster and the surrounding area at the moment. The huge investment in infrastructure locally such as the new link road, and the potential this opens up for the port at Heysham, means the area is becoming an attractive business destination. We’re pleased to be able to expand our presence here and continuing providing valuable legal advice for Lancaster businesses and residents.”

Harrison Drury’s team of lawyers and solicitors in Lancaster is led by corporate and commercial lawyer Brett Cooper, employment solicitor Sarah Cheetham, and commercial property lawyer Amanda Marwood.
