Commercial PropertyCatherine joined Harrison Drury in 2020 following a relocation from Manchester where she worked for over ten years with Cobbetts LLP. Catherine qualified in January 2000 having trained in Wigan and progressed to a firm in Altrincham showing a very early preference for anything property-related.
At Cobbetts, Catherine worked within a case management team acting for telecom providers in site acquisition, upgrades and estate matters and both incoming and outgoing site share.
Following a maternity break, she moved to the Banking Sales team carrying out due diligence and putting a wide range of properties into auction or handling private sales. It involved dealing with some complex areas of banking/mortgage law, liaising with asset managers and local agents to ensure sales were pushed through, and dealing with the proceeds of sale in accordance with mortgage law
Outside of work you can find me…
Catherine is married with two young daughters to keep her on her toes. She enjoys dancing (particularly tap) and is a member of the running club.
Catherine is an enthusiastic cook and her speciality is Chinese cookery. She enjoys bread baking, finding it very therapeutic. Catherine’s family own a local pub, which has provided valuable insight for her role in the leisure team. She is a proud supporter of local breweries and suppliers. Born in Wigan anything involving pie or crust also has her vote.
