We can assist you in navigating your issues, given that partnership disputes are often extremely messy, as a partnership can be established extremely informally, often with no written partnership agreement setting out the basis of the business relationship. In some cases, parties are operating together in partnership without even being aware of the fact.
Frequently disputes arise in relation to partnerships where one of the partners wants to make changes to the original agreement. This could be new partners joining; a partner wishing to retire; or feelings that one partner is doing more than another. Even in cases where a written partnership agreement exists; it may not cover all eventualities or it could have become outdated over time.

We are able to assist partners in obtaining valuations of partnership assets, including land and property, with a view to understanding their financial position. Where a resolution is reached, we are able to prepare settlement agreements documenting the deal, as well as deeds of retirement or dissolution of a partnership.
