Legal 500

They have very outstanding people, who can deliver under difficult circumstances and deadlines. They also gave us very good insight into future risks and consequences of some of our decisions, and used technology effectively to speed up the process.’

A dynamic team with excellent communication skills – knowledgeable, reliable, enthusiastic and always on hand to help – excellent service all round and a pleasure to deal with!

Legal 500

Harrison Drury makes the process of buying and selling properties so much easier and quicker for a company who are not based locally to them.

Legal 500

The firm is very highly regarded in our local market place and the expertise in the commercial property arena is second to none.

Legal 500

The firm has communicated excellently, especially during the pandemic, when this has become ever so important. We are always kept up to date with progress with legal cases, and delivery of completed work has been exceptional.

They have a passion for client outcomes – a genuine interest to see client results and to share these back to you.

Legal 500

Simon England has been keen to better understand how we as a business support our clients, and during the pandemic reached out to ensure that they were able to provide holistic overviews with their content and support.

The only word to use to describe my experience with working with Harrison Drury is excellent.

Legal 500

The team is highly professional, competent and efficient.

Legal 500

Genuinely care about their clients and want to delight them. Amanda Marwood has a laser-like focus on what truly matters. Wendy Newbury is calm and clear, taking time to articulate complex issues.

An excellent team with a diverse range of knowledge.

Legal 500

An excellent real estate team headed by Simon England. A diverse range of knowledge always ensuring the suitable solicitor deals with the matter. Communication in particular remains a major strength along with response time and pro-activeness, all strengths which I find to be rare particularly outside of Greater Manchester.

Lara Watts in particular is a world class professional.

Legal 500

Extremely dedicated to their work and consistently contactable. Proactive in providing meaningful updates – regularly over the phone too rather than all on email.

They are approachable, personable, and make you feel able to ask question

Legal 500

They have knowledge of the sector and the institution. Work is conducted with humour and legal jargon is broken down so that even I can understand it! One individual that stands out is Danielle Leeming.

We would be happy to recommend Wendy and the Team.

Nick Stevenson, The Barley Mow

We were extremely pleased with the great service that Wendy and the team at Harrison Drury provided for us during the purchase of our pub. Wendy was incredibly knowledgeable about the needs of our business and went above and beyond to ensure that the purchase went through in a very short time frame.

The team at Harrison Drury helped us to tie up all the necessary legal requirements to operate the Barley Mow as a free house, which was a fantastic result.

Easy to communicate with, knowledgeable and able to form coherent strategies to get things done.

Neil McManus, Lanley Homes

Jackie has been our go to conveyancer for several years now. She has the ability to get transactions completed with the minimum of fuss and expediently. Not afraid to push things to make transactions happen and ultimately get deals done to meet the clients’ timescales.

We have been loyal to Harrison Drury for many years.

Sam Fleuriot, Pringle Homes

Harrison Drury’s expertise in conveyancing, land purchasing, and litigation has resulted in a seamless and professional service every time, hence our loyalty to the company for many years. Their dedication and attention to detail ensure our legal requirements are always expertly handled.

Harrison Drury have never let us down!

Annabel Lewis, Barnfield Homes

Having worked with Harrison Drury Solicitors since 2018, this company have never let us down and each development or plot sale they work on are always completed efficiently, with the highest of standards. Jackie Bate, at the Preston office, has been an invaluable asset to our legal matters and brings to us such a wealth of knowledge & experience. We would highly recommend Harrison Drury Solicitors to any company that would like professionalism & attention to detail throughout their residential sales.

Gemma has been amazing throughout!

I wanted to thank you personally for helping to sell No. 34. This is the end of a very long 4 years of our lives. I’ve ticked a lot of items off my bucket list through the experience of building our own houses and selling them, however this has not been without it’s emotional and physical cost. Now that it is over I can breathe again and that is in part down to you and your team.

Once again, thank you so much.

Just wanted to pass on how impressed I’ve been with your commercial property department and particularly Lucy Benton.

The refinance has been extremely smooth and taken a third of the time of our previous solicitors. Purchase completions lack the high drama I’ve seen elsewhere. Absolutely spot on, please pass on my appreciation- feel like we’ve finely found a modern firm that we enjoy working with and so glad we made the move taken a lot of worry of our end.

Harrison Drury supported the college with everything

Kelvin Nash, Principal and CEO Kendal College

In February 2021, Kendal College started the process of buying an under-utilised shopping centre in the centre of Kendal as its third campus, and in January 2024, we finally completed the process and bought it!!

Planning a multi-million pound spend to buy 50% of a shopping centre, or the equivalent of 18 different shop units, was a daunting task.  We didn’t fully appreciate the complexities and legalities associated with the intricacies and preciseness of wording the lease documents, implications of VAT and stamp duty or know where to begin or what questions to ask.

Harrison Drury supported the college with everything, making the purchase less onerous, and more importantly talked me through the whole process, with no question too small! The best part was that I had a single point of contract for the duration and could completely trust their team to represent the college professionally always knowing that they were looking after our best interests.

We are now in the process of refurbing the former shops into teaching spaces and classrooms, which will incorporate a TV studio, science labs, dedicated 6th form and a lecture theatre and we are looking forward to moving into the new college campus which will house over 400 students and staff when refurbed.

Harrison Drury covers all bases smoothly and when faced with the inevitable unusual scenario from time to time it has the appropriate expertise in-house to call upon.
