Land & Property Dispute Resolution

Navigating the complex world of property litigation requires specialist expertise. Our land and property dispute resolution team are specialists. We don’t dabble. We have a highly experienced and dedicated team who deliver a pragmatic and client focused approach to resolving all types of land and property related disputes.

We identify the best solutions for clients, taking a commercial approach to points where the risk of success is low, or where engaging in lengthy litigation would prove economically detrimental to the client in the long term.  We provide clear, concise and tailored advice that meets our clients’ needs and requirements. We act for a wide variety of commercial and private clients, from large corporations and  landowners to retailers and other SME’s as well as developers and high net worth individuals throughout England and Wales. Whatever issue you may have, we can assist in identifying and assessing your relevant legal rights and obligations and providing advice on the options which might best achieve your commercial or personal objectives.

We always aim to resolve disputes in a timely and cost-effective manner but if this cannot be achieved through sensible engagement and communication and litigation is required, clients can rely on the depth and breadth of our experience and expertise in the County Court, High Court and Court of Appeal and in the Tribunal system to secure the best outcome available to them. Where appropriate, we are also experienced in Alternative Dispute Resolution, including settlement meetings, mediation, expert determination and adjudication.

We work closely with our other specialist colleagues both in the real estate transactional team but also other contentious and non-contentious teams in the firm (such as corporate, insolvency and family) to ensure that clients receive the necessary technical support required in all aspects of their case and can make informed decisions on the options available.

I receive pragmatic and sound commercial advice presented in a friendly, plain-speaking manner from Harrison Drury’s individuals.

Legal 500

The team has great expertise.

The team has expertise and enough people to cover detailed and urgent matters. We have worked together on a large landlord and tenant case including an urgent injunction at the outset which was well-prepared by the firm and has so far been very successful.

Excellent professionals, dedicated to clients, friendly and pleasant to work with on all levels.

Legal 500

The team is very much a team with an excellent working relationship therefore providing clients with a comprehensive service.

Legal 500

Even when another member of the team is dealing with another matter each professional is aware of the case details so it can be picked up if anything was to happen. They have a wide range of knowledge of the whole sector, and also abreast with the latest developments. Each individual take time to understand the client’s requirements and end goal before advising on the matter. Most importantly it’s a joy to meet with them, as they are always so polite, professional, cheery and communicate to a standard which other professionals don’t.

Harrison Drury take a refreshingly modern approach to property litigation.

Legal 500

They are both engaging and professional, friendly but firm and provide a high quality of professional service. Their approach makes them much easier to deal with than similar firms.’

I find the team at Harrison Drury to be particularly responsive to their clients’ needs, and commercially astute.

Legal 500

In the work I did with them, there were multiple factors need to taken into account, and they were careful to ensure that the client was aware of all its options and had clear, sensible advice which prioritised outcomes over processes, whilst keeping costs at a competitive level. All in all, they offer a great service.

A very capable and down to earth team with excellent links to regional clients.

Legal 500

The diversity of the teams knowledge is exactly what we look for and gives us great confidence in their work.

Legal 500

I have always been particularly impressed by the teams ability to quickly respond to urgent situations and respond well as they develop even when the matters arising are particularly complex and unique. The ability of the team far out ranks other practices we have had the opportunity to utilise over the years.

Capable, professional and experienced lawyers who are easy to communicate with from the outset of any case. Client relations are clearly paramount to the organisation.

Legal 500

HD have a fresh ‘can-do’ attitude!

Legal 500

Harrison Drury are an enthusiastic and collaborative practice with a fresh ‘can-do’ attitude unlike other staid legal firms simply relying on their longstanding existence as their key business marketing strength. Their employees at all levels are very friendly and helpful.

. It is refreshing to work with a firm that has true expertise

Legal 500

I have dealt with Harrison Drury in regard to property disputes and related issues. I find that this practice is both knowledgeable and expert in property and related matters and therefore can truly call themselves experts in this area. It is refreshing to work with a firm that has true expertise in property related matters and I have had many experiences where this service is provided as ‘an add on’ by other firms.

Approachable, friendly and knowledgeable team.

Legal 500

Harrison Drury in my opinion, is very much a ‘people centric’ business. Their team is very approachable, friendly and knowledgeable which engenders excellent collaborative and effective team working.

We speak very highly of our experience with Harrison Drury.

Legal 500

We engaged Harrison Drury as an unknown team of solicitors. We were desperate to find someone to fight our difficult case. We loved the fact that Colin Fenny was always available immediately or if busy soon got back to us. He was candid but we appreciated his honesty which gave the correct balance. We were supported through a very long and stressful chapter and can only speak very highly of our experience with Harrison Drury.
